Space Rental
Our facility is home to a variety of organizations and individuals. Scout groups, musicians, non-profit organizations, and others have used the space in addition to our full calendar of church activities. We strive to serve not only our own congregation but our neighbors and the larger community by allowing our facilities to be a community resource.
We will welcome everyone as we would welcome Christ Himself. We commit ourselves to offer hospitality which encourages fostering community by sharing our facilities while respecting our neighbors and maintaining responsible stewardship of our valuable assets.
St. Michael’s facility includes several different accommodations ranging from a large hall with an adjoining kitchen to multiple classrooms as described below.
INTERESTED IN RENTING SPACE OR EXPLORING SPACE USE PARTNERSHIPS?
- Email the parish administrator or call 703-241-2474 to determine if there are any potential conflicts with the date you are considering.
Please note that the rector should be contacted directly about wedding and funeral services. - If the space desired is available, review the Rules and Regulations and fill out the Use of Space Request Form.
- The request will be reviewed, and you will be notified of the decision concerning use of the space.
- No later than 3 weeks prior to the event, submit finalized Use of Space Agreement form, including completed Hold Harmless Form, Certificate of Insurance with St. Michael’s Episcopal Church named as an additional insured, payment for the space, and security deposit (if required).
- When we have received the completed forms and payment, we will arrange for appropriate mechanisms for access to the rented facilities.
- When you are finished in the space, please use the Checking Out page to ensure the space is returned to its original state.

Checking Out
Before leaving, please complete the following:
- Turn off all lights, including halls, kitchen, and bathrooms. The light behind the cross in the parish hall remains lit at all times.
- Close all doors labeled "Fire Door" that have been propped open.
- Lock all doors that you unlocked.
