God willing, The Rt. Rev. Gayle Harris, Bishop of Virginia, will ordain Mary Cushing to the Sacred Order of Deacons on August 10 at 10:30 AM at St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church, McLean. A reception will follow.

Mary Cushing was sponsored for ordination to the Vocational Diaconate by St. Michael's. She was a faithful St. Michael's parishioner who sang in the choir, served on the altar guild, and was Senior Warden. Mary will be back with us to preach on Sunday, August 4.
