Prime Time Lunch: The Good Shepherd in Art and Verse
Join us, Thursday, April 4, for a potluck lunch in the parish hall. Gathering at 12:15 PM. Lunch at 12:30 PM. Bring a ready-to-serve dish to pass. Hot coffee and ice water provided.
1:15 PM program: Evelyn Bence will present and discuss visual and poetic representations of God as our shepherd, an inspirational image since ancient times. Special emphasis given to African American artist Henry Ossawa Tanner, who rendered the theme 15 times, especially later in life. All are welcome, especially seniors. Contact: Evelyn Bence.
