Community of Saints: Artworks

A selection of the artworks in “Celebrating Our Community of Saints” hangs in the parish hall gallery space at St. Michael’s. Images of all the artworks, in addition to a selection that appears only online, are displayed below. The images are organized alphabetically by each artist’s last name and alphabetically by portrait title.

To see the title of each portrait, simply place the cursor over the image; to enlarge the view, click on the image title; to move from one to another image, backward or forward, click on the arrow.

Caption information (title, medium, size, year, purchase price or, if not available for sale, the letters NFS) can be found online in the section labeled “Purchase Lists of Artworks”; that section can be accessed from the exhibition’s main page or the respective sidebar to viewers’ right. The purchasing information also is included in the Exhibition Notebook found in the parish hall gallery space that is reserved for in-person viewing of the artworks.

Service Times

Sunday Eucharist at St. Michael's is a comprehensive service of both Word and Sacrament. We read from the Bible, we recite or sing a psalm, and we listen to a sermon. Then we pray for the Church and the world, and we ask God's forgiveness for our sins. Finally, we greet one another in the peace of Christ and move to the sacramental service of the Holy Communion.

At services of Holy Eucharist, all baptized persons are welcome to receive holy communion. We also offer blessings to those who for any reason are not able or not comfortable receiving this sacrament.Children are always welcome at the communion rail. Learn more about Episcopal Worship
